Great post Michael! That apathetic non-reaction from the audience was something else. Stockholm Syndrome, mass psychosis, Invasion of the Bodysnatchers, whatever it was, mighty powerful. Their basic instincts and intuition been completely overwritten, obviously. That weird coven on the stage, gazing down approvingly on their captured audience, yikes.
Great insights there on the Irish working and middle classes. I know them too. The children of hard-working farmers who got to go to college, these days unbearably bougie and woke. They have Ukrainians to do their nails, Brazilians to deliver their food, taxi drivers, security guards.......sure the entire "service class" is imported. The actual Irish working class have been somehow cancelled. Powerful stuff, that RTE black magic. They have been broadcasting this poison for decades. They really outdid themselves this time.

Not that RTE would have aired any dissent anyway. But it’s telling that there was no reaction that I could tell (granted I’ve only seen the 3 minute clip circulating).
For shits and giggles (I pretty much know people’s reactions beforehand) when I get chatting to people about the state of the place I suggest a revolutionary solution reminiscent of the French style. The subject matter gets dropped sharpish and my interlocutor generally makes a sharp exit… although one guy did humour me and say he, ‘wasn’t arsed’.
I don’t hold out much hope. Things have to get much worse before people decide they’ve nothing to lose.
The audience in the old Gay Byrne days wouldn't have just sat there. In fact Gaybo would invite the audience to react. There used to be great debates and indeed rows back in the days. We've been beat down by the wokism

Hi Michael. For some reason, this one was in my Junk folder. I only found it because I was looking for another email. I probably gave it a like on your Telegram. Great piece of journalism and as usual, you got to the heart of it. What I can't get my head around is a bunch of Irish people (Gaels) sat around a coffee table or a boardroom planning and deciding upon how the show was to go. Deciding how to mock their brothers and sisters and to know they wouldn't be allowed to protest. Why are people even interested in being in the audience of these shows. Yes you're right, they've forgotten the three generations before who were poor
Just for an example, I grew up in the 50s and 60s. We didn't think we were poor, but we didn't have much. My father was a teacher in the Tech. My grandfather lived with us until he died. There were four of us. It was a Parish house, my father bought out the rent later. Three bed house. But the front and back garden was big and we grew vegs and fruit. Later my father built a garage and glasshouse adjacent. We were never hungry but we didn't have luxuries. My father wanted all of us to have the best education and we did. Looking back, we had no mod cons but tbh I wouldn't mind going back to those days (but with central heating 😂)
hey Fionnuala, interesting on the junk folder - I do think people join just to get emails to then mark them as junk so that email providers take it as a signal and apply platform wide. The same happened on my email newsletters for freepress.ie, and twitter and facebook still have any url's linking to the site shadow banned. My site was the only one really for a couple of years trying to warn about jabs etc.. One of the reasons I started writing here. (post a link to freepress.ie on twitter and it will be seen by next to no one).
We might be going back to those kind of times you talk about in the next few years, will be interesting to observe.
Honestly, the only explanation for the planning that goes into these things is the membership of occult groups, and or an enjoyment and mission for inversion and heavy prior training and vetting. "How are we going to f*ck with their heads today :-)" is probably scrawled at the top of meeting room white boards. And I honestly think that at RTE many people that work there are state security, be they gardai or G2, or civil servants with a brief to deceive and manipulate to keep the corporatae gravy train on track. As in these people worked for the Government and were vetted and trained before going into RTE. Similar to the likes of Anderson cooper in the US and many others. Many of the people in RTE were probably trained in the US or UK. A mixed bag of horrors then is probably behind it, but RTE is the source of all media in this country, in terms of funding and agenda setting, it is the prime communication method for what we know is an overwhelmingly corrupt state, so it stands to reason that everyone working there is heavily vetted and selected for being psychopathic, evil, malevolent etc. The best type of people to deceive their own nation in other words.
